On Saturday, September 12th, Utah County’s most promising entrepreneurs gathered at RevRoad HQ in Provo, Utah to pitch their companies to a panel of judges filled with some of Utah’s most successful business leaders.

The RevRoad Annual Entrepreneur Competition, sponsored by Central Bank, helps companies experience pitching their business, provides an opportunity to network with other successful entrepreneurs, and gives community members the opportunity to come learn from and support their local startups.

Out of over 200 applications, 36 companies moved onto the semifinal round where they pitched in front of a panel of 24 judges. The panel was made up of influential business leaders such as: Dennis Steele of Podium, Amy Rees Anderson of Rees Capital, Kassidi Henry of Braid Workshop, Jake Halladay of Corient Capital, Ronnie Price of Former NBA Player, John Sperry of Halosight, and more.

Using criteria including target market, problem/solution fit, team and advisors, leadership, traction, competitive advantage, and financials, the judges selected the top 6 companies to compete in the final round. Those 6 companies competed for the grand prize, runner-up prize, and 3rd place prize. There was also a fan favorite prize awarded to the entry with the most community votes.
